# Adding Additional Pages

The default installation of Research AMP contains some sample pages, as shown in the screenshot below.

You may delete the About, Contact, Get Started, Help, Privacy Policy, Sample Page and Terms and Conditions. **Please do not delete the Home Page, as this will cause your site to malfunction.**

This section is used to create Pages for information that you do not wish to see incorporated into the Research AMP content types or Teaser Blocks. These templates have been left largely blank, so users have the flexibility to create what they need.

You will need to create a link in the site architecture to ensure that your users can find a new page. For example, if you are creating an About page, modify the navigation bars (see Customization and Layout for instructions) to include a link to it. If you do want to create a piece of content that will appear in the Teaser Blocks, create it using the appropriate template, rather than Pages.

#### Use Pages to create:

1. About Us
2. Contact
3. Terms and Conditions
4. Teaching and Learning Resources
5. Help
6. Or other content that you might want to have linked on your site. Some Research AMP sites use Pages for creating lists of partner institutions, or links to syllabi on their central topic.

#### Do not use Pages for:

1. Articles, or other content that you would like to see appear in the Articles page
2. Research Reviews
3. News
4. Events
5. Profiles

Instead, use the respective template for each content type, as shown in the Dashboard.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://research-amp.gitbook.io/research-amp-user-documentation/content-management-procedures/adding-additional-pages.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
